I joined HeForShe because gender equality is of the utmost importance to me. Having been raised by women and now having a wife and daughter, it's imperative that I do what I can to help this movement.
Today is National Equal Pay Day. Our nation must close the pay gap. Most of us know that, unfortunately, women make 78 cents for every dollar made by a man. So, let's get active on social media! HeForShe needs us to tweet/post a photo holding 78 Cents (3 quarters and 3 pennies) with the hashtags #78 Cents and #HeForShe. Let's turn our pocket change into meaningful CHANGE.
